Sofa Collection in Hampshire: Private vs Council

The single most common question we get on WhatsApp is: 'is it cheaper than the council?' For sofas, it depends: the council is often cheaper if you can wait, while we can usually collect sooner and handle any floor or label status.

Portsmouth City Council, Havant Borough and Fareham all offer a bulky-waste collection, but slots are typically two to four weeks out, the sofa must have a fire label, and you pay a flat fee per item.

Our sofa collection starts from £100 for a 2 seater sofa and £120 for a 3 seater sofa (armchairs from £80), and includes any floor and any label status. Same-day or next-day collection may be available, subject to availability. You also get a waste transfer note — proof that the sofa was legally recycled, not fly-tipped.
