Fridges and freezers are the single most regulated item we clear. Under UK F-gas regulations, every unit must be handled by a licensed WEEE facility so the refrigerant gases can be safely captured before the appliance is broken down. That's why we collect the unit for you and pass it straight to our licensed WEEE recycling partner — councils charge a premium for kerbside collection, skip firms refuse them, and unlicensed "man and van" operators leave you exposed if the unit is later found fly-tipped in your name.

Our fridge & freezer collection service covers every type of unit across Hampshire — upright fridges, under-counter fridges, tall freezers, chest freezers, integrated appliances, American-style fridge-freezers with ice and water dispensers, wine coolers, commercial upright freezers and full retail line-ups. We collect single units for homeowners and letting agents, and multi-unit strip-outs for shops, restaurants, offices, gyms and warehouses.

You don't lift a thing. Our two-person crew arrives in a branded, insured Hampshire Waste Clearance Services truck, disconnects the unit from the mains, empties any remaining contents into sealed bags, and carries it out from any floor — including tight staircases, tenement flats and rear gardens. Doors, plinths and hinges are protected on the way through.

Every fridge is transported upright to protect the compressor, then routed through our F-gas partner facility. Refrigerant is recovered under Environment Agency rules, the compressor oil is captured, and the metal, plastic and glass are separated for recycling. You receive a Duty of Care waste transfer note by email, plus a WEEE recycling reference from our partner on request — the paperwork landlords, letting agents, estate managers and commercial clients need to prove compliant disposal.
