Sofas and armchairs are kept separate in the truck because upholstered seating has to go to a permitted facility under the POPs rules. We cannot take asbestos, chemicals, paint, tyres or clinical waste.

Doing it yourself is an option, but your nearest Hampshire HWRC is appointment-only and will refuse a van or trailer without a permit — and a tip run doesn't give you the waste transfer note that protects you under the duty of care rules if your rubbish is later fly-tipped.
